Biography
I believe the most effective therapy takes place within a strong therapeutic relationship founded on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. I’m confident that everyone has the potential for growth and transformation in their own lives. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered principles, including unconditional positive regard and empathy, with a focus on recognizing and empowering clients' strengths and resilience. I incorporate techniques from CBT, ACT, Strengths-based, and Solution-focused therapies, tailoring them to fit each client’s unique experience. My goal is to create a holistic, hopeful, compassionate, and kind environment for healing. I am currently supervised by Sovann Pen, a licensed professional counselor in Oregon (license number C7076).
I have experience working with:
Women’s Issues
Life Transitions
Stage of Life Concerns
Grief
Depression
Anxiety
Trauma
Family of Origin
Education and Training:
M.A. Counseling, Western Seminary
B.A. International Studies, focus in Intercultural Communication, Pepperdine University
About me:
I spent years working in the coffee industry and greatly enjoyed connecting with people over the ups, downs, and ordinary times of life. Eventually I decided I wanted to be able to offer people more than just a cup of coffee; I wanted to sit with them in good times and bad, walking alongside them as they navigated their lives.
