Biography

Hello! I’m glad you’re checking out counseling and I’d love to help you if I can. I’ve been counseling in private practice and agency counseling for many years since receiving my master’s degree in counseling in 2007. I’m a licensed counselor in Oregon and Washington and I work with clients on a wide range of issues. I use a collaborative and listening style to help clients explore solutions to the dilemmas they’re facing. I see counseling as a relationship where counselor and client work together to explore positive workable solutions and growth in life situations. If that sounds like something that would be helpful to you, I’d love to set up an appointment with you to hear more about what’s going on for you as you face the challenges in your life.

I strive to create a welcoming and caring atmosphere and I work with adults, helping to provide ways to explore key issues they may be dealing with. These would include issues like self-esteem, developing supportive relationships, family of origin issues, healthy self-care, setting healthy boundaries, how to positively manage emotions, and other important life challenges. I also work with men on a wide range of issues including communication, anger management and breaking free from pornography addiction.

(Bryan completed a Masters of Divinity Degree at Multnomah Biblical Seminary, a Masters of Counseling Degree at Western Seminary, and is currently faculty in the counseling program at Western Seminary.)
