Telehealth Options
In addition to in-person sessions, we also provide sessions via telehealth. For telehealth, clients must be present in the state where the counselor is licensed at the time of the appointment. All of our counselors are licensed and registered to work with folks in Oregon. Some of our counselors are also dually licensed and can work with folks in Washington. Please inquire about which counselors are permitted to provide telehealth services across the state line.
Telehealth makes counseling accessible for a variety of reasons and only requires a device with a camera, speaker and access to a good internet connection. Links to join the session are sent ahead of time with the email reminder or through the client portal. Your internet browser should prompt you to allow camera and microphone access. We do ask that you create a comfortable, quiet and private environment free from distractions.

Billing
We are not in-network with any insurance companies but can provide a superbill for direct client reimbursement using out-of-network benefits. Call or email if you have questions about cost or billing.

Good Faith Estimate
In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect on January 1, 2022, healthcare consumers who don't have insurance or who are not using their insurance have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency medical items or services. To comply with this law, A New Day is required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services for the duration of treatment. It is difficult to determine the exact length and scope of your treatment needs, but we will attempt to give you an estimate of your financial investment in order to be as transparent as possible. This estimate will be provided as part of your intake packet or you may reach out to our office to get an estimate for the services that you are interested in. The estimate given will be for 12 months of weekly sessions and you can adjust it for your specific needs (i.e. biweekly sessions). Please note that costs associated with treatment can also be incurred for late cancellations and no-shows in addition to direct services.
